Some thoughts about Red Lanterns #36

Guy Gardner is tired of playing with Gods.

Guy has decided to go in a mission on his own to try to stop the current threat. However, Simon Baz knows how suicidal this sounds and that Guy needs all the help he can get.

Another chapter of Godhead and thankfully, this one was much better than the last one from this same series.

Charles Soule concentrates in what made this title so good to begin with, character work. There's not only a really good scene between Guy and Simon where the writer perfectly emphasize the kind of people they are but there's also a pretty enjoyable segment where they confront Cyborg and Simon ends-up looking like a pretty competent Lantern.

It's pretty obvious that the author is giving a lot of love for Guy considering he's leaving the title and he's doing a successful job at it.

Jim Calafiore is on art duties and his work is excellent with great expressions and detail.

Nice issue and hopefully, the next one will be just as good.
