Some thoughts about Earth 2: World's End #8

Earth 2 continues to descend into chaos.

Green Lantern is still trying to stop the current threat. Constantine is recruiting Wonders for his plans. The Flash is tries to help everybody.

Things worked and things didn't.

The portrayals of Alan, Jay and Kendra seem on-point so far, at least in comparison how they were portrayed in the past.

Plus, there's also the appearance from more characters from Earth 2!

There's a problem though. One of those characters was the son of another one from the current cast in the previous DCU so I don't know how they're going to explain that. This also makes me disappointed because we probably won't ever see James Robinson's idea about Infinity Inc. becoming the Legion of Super-Heroes of Earth 2.

Then again, that's the nature of this franchise now.

Grundy's characterization is still terrible while the pacing keeps being awful.

The art is just unreadable at this point, it doesn't tell the story well at all.
