Some thoughts about Aquaman #36

What truly happened to Aquaman's mother?

Atlanna, the former Queen of Atlantis, was presumed death due to an accident, but thanks to the help of the Martian Manhunter, Arthur will realize that there's much more here than he could have imagined.

I must admit that this storyarc is becoming better than I expected.

Jeff Parker continues to develope the mystery he's creating about Atlanna's fate and to accomplish this he brings the Martian Manhunter and presents a pretty interesting use of his abilities in the investigation, it was a pretty creative portrayal.

One of the best aspects for me though, was the implementation of different sub-plots. The writer is actually giving a lot of hints about where this story is going as well as how this is connected to the past and the kind of people that live in Atlantis.

Paul Pelletier manages to capture every scene perfectly thanks to his beautiful, expressive and compelling art.

Quite satisfying issue. Keep up the good work.
