Some thoughts about Catwoman #36

Can Catwoman become a crime lord without being corrupted?

Selina is getting into a dangerous new territory for her and other people might not like the way how this is changing her and for that reason they will try to remind her who she truly is.

Well, this is a pretty interesting take all right.

Genevieve Valentine continues her story about the world of crime lords and how Selina Kyle fits into all of this. The characterization is spot-on and shows how the protagonist is being altered to be able to work in this kind of evironment, it makes a lot of sense from that perspective.

However, one of the best aspects from this story so far is how unique it is. I don't think that Selina has appeared as Catwoman in this issue at all, in fact most of the content went to how she's developing in her new world and it works pretty well since the writing is handled really smartly.

Garry Brown remains on pencils and his work is appropriate as before with a really atmospheric dark and realistic style that is perfect for this kind of script.

Successful issue, one of the best from this week.
