Some thoughts about Infinity Man and the Forever People #5

The Forever People continue to get trouble from the people of earth.

The New Gods currently don't have the best reputation and Guy Gardner is ready to beat any of them, no matter if they truly deserve them or not.

This actually works both as a chapter of Godhead and as story on its own.

Both Dan Didio and Keith Giffen utilize the current event that is happening in the Green Lantern titles to tell an entertaining interaction between the Forever People and Guy. Giffen has a certain history with the character since the days of the Justice League International and it was pretty fun to see him writing this hothead again.

Plus, I'm enjoying this exploration of the New Gods mythos. I'm not really an expert in these characters but this actually makes me more interested in them.

Tom Grummet is on art duties and his work is perfect for this series. It has an old-school style but is pretty polished and manages to capture the story really well.

Solid issue once again, enjoyable book.
