Some thoughts about Loki: Agent of Asgard #8

Can Loki escape from his destiny?

Just as many heroes from earth, Loki has suffered from the attack of the Red Skull and now he believes himself to be completely redeemed and a person pure of heart. Nonetheless, this can't last.

As I've mentioned several times, is good to have this creative team back.

Al Ewing utilizes the premise that is currently happening in the Marvel universe with the ramifications of the Axis event and how this has affected several characters. Now Loki is under the assumption that he's a pretty noble hero but is pretty obvious that the author is playing with what is expected from this kind of scenario.

However, I must say that while this is an interesting premise, is not as good as the usual work. I wish that the writer would focus on his own ongoing story instead of being forced in this crossover.

Lee Garbett is back in pencils and his work is as beautiful as usual with gorgeous characters and excellent attention to detail.

Solid issue but I hope next time they do a more personal story.
