Some thoughts about Animal Man #26

Once again, Animal Man has been chosen to save life around the universe.

The only thing that Buddy Baker wants is to return to his family and save his daughter but he first will have to deal with a strange planet where he will learn there's a new destiny for him.

This was mostly a transitional issue. A lot of exposition happened here particularly about future events and how they will probably be developed towards the few issues that are left from this series. It was a bit underwhelming on that aspect since you feel like the plot didn't progress that much and the narration, while not obtuse, it was still a bit overdone.

Cully Hamner absolutely destroyed it on art though. His work was pretty creative and powerful in some pages, a great replacement for Rafael Albuquerque.

Solid issue I suppose but I was expecting a bit more.
