Kitty Pride and the original X-Men are about to get a new member of the team and yes, is technically Wolverine.
X-23 has resurfaced after the terrible events of Avengers Arena and she's desperate to get away from people, the only person who will able to confort her is the one who her original version hates the most.
First of all, that cover is lie. I was expecting to see Cyclops and Wolverine making up dammit (and this is the closest will ever get).
Second, I loved the following interaction:
Kitty Pride: Scott Summers fancies the genetic clone of Wolverine?
Jean Grey: Yes, he does.
Kitty Pride: *shudder*
Brian Michael Bendis continues to twist the world of the original X-Men by playing with the preconceived ideas about them and guiding them into interesting new directions. The dialogue and team dynamics are pretty well handled, although the story could move a bit faster. This still was a quite entertaining story.
Mahmud Asrar and Brandon Peterson handle art duties and they complement each other perfectly in a trully expressive and vibrant style.
Good issue definitely, I hope that Bendis keeps playing with the relationships of these characters.
