Luna wants to take Celestia's place, this time in less extreme fashion.
Despite of having a hard duty as princess of the night, Luna believes that she's able to handle more responsibilities and is willing to prove her sister that she can do it. Hijinks ensue.
This is a pretty simple and classic premise that every other cartoon series has done before but fortunately, Katie Cook is able to inject enough humour and self-awareness to make it entertaining. The portrayal of Luna is pretty on-point with her characterization from the TV show but Cook also adds her usual quirkiness to give her even more personality and turn the story much more fun and twisted which is a trend that I have seen in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic for a while.
Andy Price continues his art here just like in the main title and is outstanding. Cartoony, expressive, distinctive and fun, one of the best parts of this collaboration.
Great issue from a great series. Both this and the main book are always a delight to read.
... What? Oh yeah, I'm a Brony. Is not something I'm particularly proud of.
