Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #26

Cassandra wants to know where the First Born is and she's willing to kill her own brother to do it.

Wonder Woman and Orion need to save Milan from Cassandra's hands and to accomplish itthey will need the help of old allies and enemies, not knowing that they're leaving one of their most precious friends with the worst possible person.

Brian Azzarello continues his classic and well written work on WW. It was good to see Diana interact with characters from past issues like Hermes and Siracca while trying to stop Cassandra from killing Milan. However, the best aspect of this issue was Strife due to her mean-spirited and manipulative nature that caused a quite interesting turn of events.

Still, if I have a complaint is that we haven't seen Diana in her role as the Goddess of War year. I was hoping to see her character being explored from that perspective but we're already three issues later and it has been barely touched upon.

Goran Sudsuka continues on art duties and again, he's a quite good replacement for Cliff Chiang since he has a pretty similar and attractive style.

Great issue, I just hope to see more of Diana in her new place in the Olympus.
