Some thoughts about Justice League of America #10

Stargirl is on her own against the Secret Society.

Having escaped from the strange place where they were imprisoned, Stargirl absorbed Martian Manhunter's mind and now she will be forced to get out of her memories if she wants to get out of this situation alive.

As far as origin stories go this was definitely a good one. Matt Kindt introduces to Stargirl's first steps as a superhero including the relationship with her stepfather Pat Dugan and the mystery about the last owner of the star rod, Silverter Pemberton. Kindt gave us enough sub-plots to be invested in the character and her motivations, it was a really job.

Both Eddy Barrows and Tom Derenick handle art duties here and their work mix surprisingly well, the transition between styles is pretty seamless.

Really interesting issue. All the Justice League titles have delivered the goods today.
