Is Hawkeye ready to party?
Kate has decided to relax along her friends but something is strange about her and it could be worse than everyone is expecting.
Well, that was an interesting twist.
Kelly Thompson continues her ongoing story by delivering the classic fun characterization, dialogue and even a few surprises here and there. The portrayal of Kate might be a bit off at times but that's for a reason, at first it seems like the classic: "Oh, she's just trying to look like nothing is wrong" but my God, the reveal towards the end was much more shocking than expected and is funny because this was hinted a few issues back.
Mind you, I don't think this is quite perfect because there was barely any transitions between these events, or at least I don't quite remember any transitions from the last issue. I wish there was a better set-up for this development but I guess it would have ruined the surprise. The dialogue and progress continue to be pretty solid.
Leonardo Romero remains in art duties and his work is still impressive in terms of storytelling thanks to his beautiful style that interprets the scri´pt in a quite creative way.
Quite enjoyable, can't wait for the next one.
