What is going to end this war?
The Joker is becoming even more irrational and is up to Batman and the Riddler to find a way to stop all of this but this could be over in the least expected way.
Jesus Christ, how can you make this work?
Credit where credit is due, there are some parts from the script that Tom King offers here that I actually enjoyed. Despite of how heavyhanded and in your face his depiction of Kite Man has been since his introduction, at least King has offered fun moments with him and this issue also shows of those enjoyable scenes along with a few surprises here and there.
Then again, King has to ruin it with his completely unnatural dialogue that I don't see any human being ever saying, not even demented people like the Joker and the Riddler who throw stupid lines after stupid lines every single time after each other, it almost seems like they want to beat each other by who has the most ridiculous things to say which would be funny if it was actually done on purpose. Corny lines from Catwoman here and there don't help matters.
Mikel Janin's artwork remains gorgeous though with several beautiful characters and solid storytelling although is starting to get a bit lazy in details.
Just finish this already so we can keep being disappointed.
