Some thoughts about Harley Quinn #28

Will you vote for Harley Quinn for Mayor?

Harley is tired of how corrupt their current Mayor and now has decided to take the government with her own hands no matter how bloody they are.

This new direction begins and so far seems like a fun one.

Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner offer a new chapter of this literally political story by uniting several plot-points they have been creating for a long time now. The Mayor has been depicted as an incredibly corrupted and despicable human being (and possibly a Trump analogue) for a while and it was only logical for someone to replace him but Harley is indeed a surprising choice. This allows for interesting plot and character development if this new status quo actually becomes a reality.

But of course you should also expect the classic ultra and cartoony violent moments that are accompanied by the usual humour and fanservice moments which I appreciate most of the time.

John Timms and Tom Derenick share the pencils and their work is pretty consistent by being able to maintain a pretty similar look over the course of the read, although Timms remains the best here.

Solid beginning, hoping for the better here.
