Some thoughts about Teen Titans #12

Can the Teen Titans face the menace of the Batman who laughs?

Damian has just met Green Arrow in a nightmare maze created by the Riddler's new powers and if they want to escape they will need extra help.

Well, this was pretty fun overall.

Ben Percy arrives with a Metal tie-in where he implements one of the creations from that events, the Batman who laughs, in an entertaining manner.. The story is part of a big crossover with other Batbooks apparently and this focuses mostly on both Damian and Oliver. The characterization is pretty enjoyable for the most part, it suffers from some of the typical Percy heavyhanded dialogue like when Ollie blatantly mentions how Emiko is like Damian (which is something everyone already knows) but still their interactions are quite funny and get much more exciting once that Harley makes a few appearances.

The Riddler as antagonist influenced by the Dark Multiverse serves his purpose but he mostly seems like an excuse to put all of these characters and I don't mind his simplicity in that regard.

Mirka Andolfo handles the artwork and I wish she was the main penciller of the book due to her energetic and vibrant style is perfect for it.

Quite enjoyable, hope the next one is just as good.
