Some thoughts about Aquaman #28

Is Aquaman still able to save Atlantis?

Arthur feels unworthy of becoming the King once again but the people around him will try their best to show him that they still need him.

I'm quite digging where this is going.

Dan Abnett offers a new chapter where he continues to expand the world of Atlantis and everything connected to it. The worldbuilding is pretty solid due that the writer implements new concepts into the plot that allows the readers to see unexpected settings and interesting new mythos.

This is all fortunately related to the whole cast. Arthur receives obviously most of the character development but the rest of the characters also get interesting portrayals, Dolphin for example shows a lot of personality despite of not saying a word and the issue also provides some of the best depictions of Vulko that I've seen so far, certainly the most entertaining. All of these segments manage to progress the plot at a solid pace.

Stjepan Sejic remains as one of the reasons why this book has gotten so good, he's a master at expressions and delivers the best parts of the script based on the reactions from the characters, everything is accompanied by a beautiful style.

Great stuff, cool that I've finally something nice to read.
