Can Green Arrow demonstrate that he deserves to be among the world's greatest heroes?
Ollie has finally found the source of the Ninth Circle and is ready to risk everything to put an end to this threat but even with that in mind, his mission is far from over.
This storyarc is over and how well do you think it went?
Yes, the classic issues like poor pacing and awkward characterization are still present in this conclusion that Ben Percy is trying to sell which can make the overall read pretty obnoxious due to how the story jumps from segment to segment without proper transitions and the dialogue gets really, REALLY bad at times with characters saying pretty much their whole backstory out of nowhere (looking at you Dinah) without any natural reason to do so, the other weird lines don't make things any better.
The worst part though, is that this story barely made any progress in the grand scheme of things. I'm pretty damn sure that the Ninth Circle is far from being gone (although they should have been gone A LONG TIME AGO!) and it doesn't make the encounter between these superheroes really relevant since they apparently have known each other for years now. The fact that this is a pretty simplistic story is just pushing this mediocre run.
Otto Schmidt is the highlight here thanks to his beautiful style that gets the best from characters but is not helped by the awful pacing from the script.
There's actually some solid moments of interaction between the heroes but they're ruined by an unremarkable plot that will most likely be forgotten.
