Deadman has been trying to figure out who is the mysterious ghost who is apparently connected to the events around the house meanwhile Berenice will soon realize that her life is about to become even more complicated.
Well, this story is getting more and more interesting.
Sarah Vaughn offers a new installment that is once again divided in two sections, one focusing on Deadman and how is connected to his own skills and the other on Berenice and her personal life. The best and common aspect of both segments is how well-written they are, the narration is really engaging revealing several details about what happens to the characters in the story and being quite compelling to read as well.
Speaking about the characters, I really enjoy the new cast that the writer has created. Berenice and her lovers show a really complex dynamic and it immediately makes you invested in what is going to happen to all of them based on their development.
Lan Medina handles the artwork and is still one of his best efforts in years with a really distinctive and detailed style that really knows how to create surpernatural scenes.
Quite good read, more people should read this book.
