The Secret Six will have to do everything in their power to save Strix and themselves but maybe some of them don't want that at all.
Lady Shiva still wants to convince Strix to be part of her League of Assassins but her family knows that she can do better than that although one of them might end-up being just as bad as Shiva.
Yet another series that comes to and end and while this book has been pretty inconsistent at times, this felt like a nice conclusion.
Gail Simone brings the final chapter by exploring one of the most important themes of this book, about how the Secret Six are a family, a dysfunctional one but a family nonetheless. The characterization works nicely with each member of the cast showing their own personalities and how much they care for one another which makes you feel invested in their success.
There's a twist half-way though, one of the protagonists betrays the group and it definitely feels like a surprise but it also seems pretty logical considering such character's nature. It still make me feel sorry for one of the most enjoyable aspects of such character, you will know which.
Tom Derenick handles the artwork and is pretty solid this time depicting the action and story nicely.
Solid finale overall, I just wish this kind of chapters would have been more frequent.
