The Omega Men are close to victory but is that enough?
Kyle has been influencing into the team all this time and despite that they don't have the same opinions about how to handle Viceroy, they all need to come to the same conclusion.
Okay, this series is over and while I didn't particularly love some parts of it, I have to admit it was a quite interesting story.
Tom King brings the final chapter by delivering the confrontation between the Omega Men and Viceroy and is definitely a quite climactic, emotional and complex situation. King showcases the perspective of everyone here, there are no heroes and villains, there are just people trapped in a system that forced them to commit actions that they don't necessarily approve but they still needed to be done.
The characterization and themes can be quite complex in that regard showing that no side is right and the only thing that could be considered wrong is the whole nature of the universe and how it always forces people to fight one another. Is really something that makes you think.
Barnaby Bagenda continues in art duties and his work is still wonderful in terms of storytelling with great-looking panels that perfectly depict the script and ideas that King implemented.
This was a quite thought-provoking finale. No complaints here really.
