Some thoughts about Young Justice #7

Where will Young Justice arrive now?

The team is currently lost in the Multiverse and they will visit several bizarre places where they might find what they have been looking for.

This was actually a pretty good issue.

Brian Bendis takes a rest from the long arcs to deliver basically an almost standalone story where he explores the Multiverse. Is hard not to smile when the team visits a cartoony dimension full of child-like versions of the Justice League only to arrive in an even sillier place like Captain Carrot's universe. The reactions of the characters are really appropriate, especially Bart's who loves all the wackiness, the references to events like Multiversity and even Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet are also appreciated.

The plot takes a more serious tone once they arrive to the Kingdom Come timeline though. The character work we get from here is little but very appropriate due that it creates an understandable connection between the different characters and even good motivation for the future.

John Timms, Dan Hipp and David Lafuente share the pencils and their work is pretty fitting during the cartoony and more realistic parts of the read.

Great stuff, hope the next one is just as good.
