Some thoughts about Teen Titans #32

Who can the Teen Titans defeat Lobo?

Crush has almost been killed by her father and now the team doesn't know how to deal with his threat, their only chance is to change him.

This little arc comes to a conclusion and does it successfully.

Adam Glass delivers a new installment where he puts the conflict between Crush and Lobo to rest, for now at least. Once again, the highlight of the title remains in the relationships between the characters which can be easily seen in how each one of them react to the threat of Lobo, the most compelling one being the conversation between Roundhouse and Wallace since the former might be indestructible but he still fears to lose his best friend, there are other similar different interactions between the rest and all of them are also really interesting.

The plot progresses effectively too since the battle against Lobo reveals an intriguing twist. This run has been building-up to the encounter between Crush and her father that we didn't wonder who is her mother and this seems to be the next plot-point that is going to be developed.

The only complaint if the usual Year of the Villain stuff at the end but everything else is so good that I can forgive it.

Bernard Chang remains in art duties and his work is still great in terms of energy and character expressions.

Great read, can't wait for the next one.
