Some thoughts about Superman #38

Superman's only hope is his son.

Savior has convinced some of the Teen Titans that they need Superboy but Damian and Jon have other plans about it and all of them will need the help of old friends.

Boy, this didn't work well at all.

Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason continue their story about the Titans Tomorrow coming to the present and let's just say they could have done a better job here. For one, is basically a big fight between everyone involved here with misunderstandings that quickly lead to conflict, is crossover stuff 101 and I wish they wouldn't have followed such a predictable route.

Worst of all is that this affects the pacing terribly due that the scenes jump constantly to the point where the read becames a bit of a mess. The transitions don't do a good job at following a cohesive story and all ends rather quickly. There are a few moments but they really don't compensate for all this flaws.

Sergio Davila handles the art and is solid overall with expressive characters and a vibrant style.

Other than that, God this story is not what I expected. Not sure about the conclusion now.
