Some thoughts about Harley Quinn: Be Careful What You Wish For #1

What could happen if you could get everything you wished for?

Harley has just discovered a magical bottle that contains a genie that could grant her anything she wants and that could mean the worst for the rest of the world.

While Harley Quinn #34 served like a proper finale for Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner's run, this special also gets the job done in several levels.

For one, this story places with the idea of the multiple team-ups and hallucinations that have happened over the course of this run and exploits them to great levels. Is hard to not get a laugh from Harley's interactions with Power Girl, Wonder Woman and the whole Justice League and how she reacts to all these situations accordingly with the classic silly humour and crazy scenes that you can expect from these writers.

It also implements the dream sequences, or in this case, different lives segments, in pretty interesting ways including Harley's "healthy" relationship with the Joker, her membership in the Justice League and even her time as a director of her own movie. Is just pretty creative and showcases the kind of bizarre situations that this book always offered.

Conner's artwork is a joy to watch thanks to her cartoony and beautiful style that gets the best from every scenes while other artists like Chad Hardin, Otto Schmidy and Ben Caldwell also do a wonderful job during their respective segments.

Quite entertaining special, this team is leaving on a high note.
