The Justice League's problems are starting to get worse.
Etrigan's forces are rising and he's decided to send his most dangerous warrior against the team. Now, if they want to survive the horde, the group will need to try their best to work together but even if they survive this, the threats won't stop coming.
This installment marks the conclusion of this volume as we know it, so does it delivers?
I would happily say so!
Both Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis deliver the final chapter from this volume by introducing one of their most anticipated new members, Fire. The good aspects don't end there though since the creators are able to balance the character work and team dynamics perfectly in this chapter by giving every member from the cast a good moment.
The humour is also pretty good as usual and it was nice to see the classic references to the JLI. Plus, the final page makes things even more interesting.
Howard Porter returns to pencils and I must say I was really missing his creative, complex and beautiful work. He's the perfect fit here.
Pretty good issue. Once the title returns it will be as Justice League 3001 and hopefully the creators will be able to bring the same kind of fun they did before.
