Some thoughts about Green Lanterns #38

The Green Lanterns don't know what to do.

The planet they swore to protect is about to have a race war and both Simon and Jess might not be able to stop this from getting too far.

This storyline continues and is once again quite compelling.

Tim Seeley delivers a new installment where he presents probably one of the most complex situations for these characters. The idea behind the conflict in Ungara is pretty intriguing since it presents quite realistic racial issues that quickly draw parallels with what happened to both Simon and Jessica on Earth, this creates an actual difficult problem for the protagonists since they're just used to deal with alien threats, not complicated scenarios like this.

Plus, there's a huge amount of content that offers great and subtle character moments along with appropriate plot progression and a suprising twist at the end that will leave a lot of fans satisfied.

German Peralta handles the art and is quite appealing thanks to the vibrant style and expressive characters.

Fantastic read, one of the best so far.
