Some thoughts about The Flash #16

The Flash's battle against The Rogues continues.

Barry believes that Heatwave has the key to find the rest of the team. However, even if he finds them things are not to going be easy.

This pretty much follows the same work all right.

Joshua Williamson delivers a new installment this time focusing on the encounter between The Flash and Heatwave. As usual, Williamson is heavily inspired by Geoff Johns' take on The Rogues by developing the background he created for Heatwave and giving it an interesting twist.

That is not really the main event though since the fight against The Rogues is still the biggest point of the plot and the writer creates a solid way for Barry to find them while also giving Captain Cold a pretty respectful portrayal.

Carmine Di Giandomenico returns to pencils and his work is still quite kinetic during the speed scenes while creating good character models and storytelling.

My complaint here is that I wish this had more content but other than that, this was a nice read and I hope the next one offers a good conclusion for the arc.
