Some thoughts about Transformers: Lost Light #2

The Lost Light crew continues to be lost.

Rodimus and his team have been captured in the Functionist Universe and soon will find more secrets about its people and even some of their friends.

The series continues and so far is on a good road.

James Roberts offers a new chapter where he separates the story in two segments. One focusing on the Functionist Universe and the other on the rest of the Lost Light crew. The first part does a good job in terms of worldbuilding due that it explores more about this particular reality while at the same time developing some of the plot-points from More than Meets the Eye like Rung and his purpose.

The other segment is more about character progression and is also solid by developing Tailgate and Cyclonus and revealing more about the newcomers like Anode and Lug.

Jack Lawrence handles the artwork and is good looking with a semi-cartoony style that allows for expressive characters and fluid action scenes.

Good stuff and full of content to boot. Hope the next one continues this trend.
