Who is Wonder Woman's worst enemy?
Vanesa Kapatelis suffered a terrible accident and her only hope was Wonder Woman but once that Diana forgets her, she might have other thoughts in mind.
A new storyline begins here and seems promising at the very least.
James Robinson opens this new arc by reinveinting one of Wonder Woman's classic villains in a pretty interesting way. The way how Vanesa is reintroduced is pretty faithful to her original portrayal (except that her history needs to be condensed a lot considering the intention of the story) and gives her a pretty solid motivation to become Diana's enemy, the Silver Swan. This one of the best things about Robinson's work, how he's able to update classic concepts in compelling ways.
Jason also reappears here and seems to be developed further which is good since he wasn't that interesting at the beginning. Some of the typical Robinson flaws like the dialogue are still present here but they don't ruin the read thankfully.
Emanuela Lupacchino handles the art and is gorgeous, full of beautiful characters and precise storytelling.
Enjoyable overall, let's see how it continues.
