Can Hawkeye save Hawkeye?
Kate has just met her mother once again and Clint will have to find a way to help her friend but could end-up ruining everything.
Yet another fun installment.
Kelly Thompson continues this team-up between Hawkeyes and delivers the classic character work and humour the you can expect. The flashbacks to Kate's past are still present and they allow to explore more about her complicated relationship with her mother which contrasts nicely with her current predicament.
The funniest parts of the issue belong to Clint though who is trying his best to save Kate and this offers a lot of entertaining moments, especially when he encounters Madame Masque in Kate's body which leads to the moment shown in the cover. This works in several levels due that Clint's reaction is hilarious and demonstrates that he ultimately sees Kate as his sister basically and again, that is how their relationship works best.
Leonardo Romero remains in art duties and his work is still strong as usual with wonderful storytelling and a great range of emotions for the characters.
Pretty entertaining read, hope the next one arrives soon.
