Can Moon Knight welcome a new person in his life?
Marc has just learned that he has a daughter and now will have to fight against a God to keep her safe.
Well, at least this one was a bit better than the last one but not without problems.
Max Bemis continues his direction of this book by redefining a few aspects of the mythos. There are a few interesting ideas that actually complement a few from the past like how deities get reincarnated into some unstable beings, this actually contributes to the concept that Jeff Lemire was working about how Khonshu is part of Marc's personalities while also keeping the supernatural aspect of the character still intact which is a good compromise I guess. There are also good character moments like Marc's relationship with his daughter he just met while villains like Bushman get some fun insightful scenes.
On the other hand, I feel like the whole "Jake slept with Marlene"thing is still pretty bad, particularly because it was without Marc's concent and thus seems basically like rape. Not to mention that they basically ignore that important point in this issue and all seems almost back to normal between Marc and Jake which is pretty wrong.
Jacen Burrows' artwork is pretty good with a beautiful style that gets the best from character expressions and storytelling.
Liked it but still find it flawed, let's see how it continues.
