The dangers don't stop coming.
Dastardly and Muttley's team are starting to change and even the President has suffered the same fate. Now they will have to find the source of the virus and prevent the end of the world.
Okay, this worked better than the last one at least.
Garth Ennis continues his satire with a chapter that actually explores the nature of this condition in the most humourous way possible. The mythological origin of the virus is explained in a pretty ridiculous manner but at least is appropriate considering everything that has happened here and includes several classic cartoons in bizarre forms (Lord knows that "Cthluto" made me laugh immediately).
The plot also progresses and reveals a few interesting aspects that I wasn't expecting like the incoming assimilation of a planet that heavily ressembles the classic Hanna Barbera characters which in context gives a lot of sense to the story now. Add the solid character moments like when Muttley tries to contact his family along with comedic scenes like when Zee realizes that she's turning into a cartoony woman and you get a lot of bang for your buck.
Mauricet's pencils continue to shine in terms of expressions and the artstyle is able to replicate typical cartoon characters perfectly.
Quite good, hope the conclusion follows this path.
