How many people is the Lost Light crew going to lose?
Cyclonus is about to listen one of the most tragic news in his life and that's not the only problem since the rest of the entire team is in danger.
To be honest, I don't think this issue went that well.
James Roberts delivers a new installment where continually tests the expectations of the readers but not in the best way. Someone who is familiar with the last series, More than Meets the Eye, realizes that there were tons of fake outs concerning the deaths of the characters and in fact, this chapter uses many of those things as a joke, so much that you don't know how to react when one of those deaths might turn out to be real (Emphasis on "might" since this is Roberts after all). For that reason these events don't have the same weight that one would expect or want.
There are also several sub-plots being progressed but most of them are not that interesting and mostly serve as set-up for more important events that are going to occur. There are also the classic comedic moments but again, they can feel a bit out of place at times.
Alex Milne returns to these characters in art duties and his work is just as great as always thanks to his beautiful cartoony style and great character models.
I wouldn't say this is bad but is not good either, passable overall.
