The Runaways are apart again.
Gert is trying to get used to a normal life along with Molly but she will soon realize that in their world there's nothing that can be considered normal.
Finally an issue that offers decent content.
Rainbow Rowell brings a new chapter where she explores multiple segments in a solid manner. My main criticism about this series was that most of the issues were pretty decompressed and didn't offer a lot of plot. Thankfully, this installment addresses those problems by dividing its attention to all the members of the cast and so it manages to deliver one of the most satisfying issues from this run so far.
The way how the dynamic between Gert and Molly is depicted is perfect based on their respective stories although it makes me scratch my head at times since apparently it only transcurred 2 years since Gert's death which makes me realize how messed-up Marvel's timeline is (and makes Gert's previous complaint about Chase being "too old for her now" pretty ridiculous). Chase and Victor also receive solid moments that are faithful to their old conversations. The highlight are Karolina and Nico though since my early suspicions about where Rowell was taking their relationship were apparently true (and makes sense in context since Karolina always liked Nico while Nico herself tends to get around when she feels lonely and gender doesn't matter for her now apparently).
Kris Anka remains in art duties and the style is wonderful, full of beautiful and distinctive characters along with strong storytelling.
Pretty good issue, please continue like this.
