The Green Lanterns will have to save two races.
The Red Tide has shown her true colours and now is up to Jessica and Simon to stop her and prevent a planet from falling apart.
This storyline concludes in a very satisfying way.
Tim Seeley offers a new installment where he focuses on the ramifications of the last one with Liseth turning against her whole world. Once again, Seeley plays with themes of race differences, discrimination and how all of that can lead to extremism while incorporating classic mythos like Abin Sur's ring into the plot and how some of their people see it.
Best of all is that Seeley defies expectations by presenting what initially seemed like a stereotypical love interest into the villain and demonstrating how race differences don't really matter at the end since there will always be compassion in most people. That's a very positive way to end this story and also pretty appropriate for both protagonists who also get really good character moments.
Ronan Cliquet's artwork is quite solid thanks to his expressive characters and strong action scenes.
Good read, hope that the series continues this way.
