Are the Titans over?
The Justice League has just intervined to put an end to the team's operations and Nightwing might not have other choice but following them.
Some things worked, others didn't.
Dan Abnett offers a new installment where he handles the ramifications of the last few stories where the Justice League have noticed how badly some of the Titans' missions have gone. The things that don't work here is that the actions of the JL seem pretty forced at times, like trying too hard to create a conflict and acting in patronizing ways towards their old sidekicks which is typical and quite frankly, derivative stuff. I wish writers could create more interesting conversations between the two teams.
On the other hand, some of the characterization seems on-point. The interaction between Bruce and Dick, Barry and Wally and Diana and Donna feels genuine for the most part. Is a shame we haven't seen other members from the JL to create more contrast with the other characters.
Paul Pelletier is in charge of the pencils and his work is fantastic with expressive and beautiful characters.
Not bad, not great, just the usual.
