Can Harley Quinn stop herself from hurting her loved ones?
Harley has been turned into a Woman-Bat and now is up to her friends to find an antidote but even then their problems are far from over.
This run continues and I'm still not sure about it.
Frank Tieri delivers a new installment where he progresses the story heavily focused on the Man-Bat serum and it works fine enough. The portrayals are accurate while the inclusion of characters like the Gang of Harleys make sense considering Tieri's previous work on their miniseries while Red Tool and Big Tony are always welcomed. The idea of Harley turning into a monster is not particularly unique and is not explored in a way that makes it more interesting but at least gets the job done.
My problem here is that it seems like this direction is going to focus more on the Batman universe which would be a bit detriment considering the great work that Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner did to make Harley's world her own. This is pretty clear based on the inclusion of The Penguin and the appearance of even more Batvillains. Sure, it could turn out to be entertaining by itself but still is not my favorite idea.
Inaki Miranda's artwork is quite solid although it might seem a bit too realistic and serious for the book, the character models and style are good looking though.
Not sure if I'm digging this but let's see how it continues.
