Can Black Lightning fight against fear?
A couple has just been killed and their children are in danger of suffering the same fate unless Jefferson saves them.
Better than the last issue all right.
Tony Isabella offers a new chapter where he continues the same social commentary mixed with superheroics. The political tone seems on-point thanks to the solid implementation of classic racial issues with a more complex twist that doesn't make it look so black and white. That and the fact that Tobias Whale uses all this in his favor to get more power helps to make the theme of the story stronger.
Speaking of the story, it progresses at a nice pace and offers a lot of content integrating new concepts that I sincerely wasn't expecting but also contribute to the initial premise. The dialogue remains natural and depicts the characters' personalities perfectly.
Clayton Henry remains in art duties and his work is still quite good looking thanks to his vibrant and energetic style that gets the best from personal and action scenes.
Good installment, hope the next one continues this way.
