Cybertron is once again at war.
The Titans have arrived to destroy everyone and each bot is reacting in their own way. Now is up to Starscream to look up for allies but not all of them might answer the call.
Thought this was decent but not exactly great.
Mairghread Scott offers a new chapter and one should mention that it has been a while since we have seen a proper issue of TAAO (Since I'm not counting the borderline awkwardly porny Revolution tie-in). The writer continues her story immediately after the last chapter with Sentinel Prime unleashing the Titans against Cybertron. The characterization does its job by depicting every members of the cast nicely, their voices being the same and showing solid interactions with one another. Plus, it was cool to see some obscure characters like Razorbeast here.
On the other hand, I didn't find any of these aspects particularly impressive nor enjoyable. They get the job done but they don't really make you invested in the current conflict despite of its scale. Not to mention that this was too much of a fast read with very little content.
Sara Pitre-Durocher returns to art duties and her work is still beautiful by creating a great range of expressions for the characters along with solid storytelling.
A serviceable but far from really good read. Hope the next one is better.
