Is Elections Season around the city.
A very dangerous candidate has appeared and is up to Kamala to try to motivate the whole city to vote for what they think is the better option.
Yet another story based on the Elections but fortunately this is a solid one for the most part.
G. Willow Wilson dedicates this issue to one of the most common topics in the last few months and while she's a bit late with the commentary, is still nice to see other people's perspective. For one, the writer doesn't really focus so much on bashing a candidate in particular (although it still happens in a way) but she instead concentrates on the voting proccess itself which allows for a more distinctive story.
Speaking about the story itself, there's not much to say aside from Ms. Marvel trying to beat a terrible politician in his own game (who I'm pretty sure we all know who actually represents). However, the most important aspect from the chapter is Ms. Marvel fighting against the apathy about Elections and how every person's vote is important, such message is delivered in a speech that is a bit too blunt, a bit too preachy but ultimately balanced and on-point (and still was most subtle that some recent similar stories, looking at you Catwoman: Election Night).
Mirka Andolfo handles the artwork and is pretty beautiful with a semi-cartoony style that gets the best from the character's expressions.
Overall, it was an enjoyable little story focusing on an overdone premise but still worth checking out.
