The Suicide Squad's members are in danger.
El Diablo will have to fight for Azucar's life while Killer Croc will have to realize what he truly is.
This actually wasn't bad at all.
Not even Jai Nitz' story was terrible this time fortunately, possibly because he didn't make the characters speak Spanish so much but also because the story progresses at a nice pace with solid action scenes and nice character interaction between El Diablo and Batman. I still dislike the characterization of Chato here but is still at the very least more tolerable.
Cliff Richard continues to bring beautiful and expressive characters in a semi-realistic style. The fight scenes are depicted nicely as well.
The best part of the book though, is once again Killer Croc written by Christopher Sebela. The writer manages to create a pretty interesting characterization for Waylon which makes him pretty simple-minded but at the same time more complex than any other portrayal that I've seen recently. Plus, is full of fun moments as well. Who could not love a giant Killer Croc fighting against monsters? The story is packed with content and almost every page offers an enjoyable scene.
Brian Level remains in art duties and he's still nice fit for the intense and vibrant action segments while creating bizarre monsters.
Yep, recommended at the very least for Croc's story. Nice read.
