Harley Quinn is about to enter into a stranger world.
There's a superhero party dress up where several people want to live their wildest desires and that includes some of the worst things possible.
Well, this was bizarrely appropriate.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner offer a new chapter where they deliver exactly on their promise: Creating a club where they play with the idea of superheroes being fetishised to a lucrative point for some. This obviously fits into the comedic and sexy nature of the book and character while managing to demonstrate how people like this have fun without being really offensive about it. Nice job.
Plus, there's the appearance of a classic Batman villain whose involvement is pretty logical considering his M.O. and his connection with Harley is also explored.
Plus, there's also the usual toilet humour that you would expect but I'm more invested in the other aspects.
John Timms is in charge of the art once again and is as beautiful as usual with a really flexible style for a great range of character expressions and cartoony action.
Fun once again, wonder what the next chapter will exploit?
