Midnighter and Apollo have more problems than ever.
Apollo has been sent to hell and is up to Midnighter to rescue him one way or another.
This series continues in the right direction.
Steve Orlando brings a new installment where he focuses on the ramifications from the last one with Apollo apparently death and Midnighter dealing with it. The characterization is pretty solid due that it shows how Midnighter handling this kind of situation in his own way while there are also some scenes with Apollo and showing how strong he is as a character.
Plus, Extraño is back and showing some interesting aspects of his world. The way how he's explored makes him less of a stereotype as before and actually makes you invested more into his personality and background.
Some issues here though, I thought it was a bit of a fast read compared to the last chapter and Neron appears in a different way from his look in Constantine: The Hellblazer (Not that I even liked that book but some consistency would be nice).
Fernando Blanco is in charge of pencils and his style can be a bit rough at times with a lack of polish in some characters but the storytelling is really fitting for the book.
Good read aside from some nitpicks. Recommended.
