Nightwing will have to reunite with another of his mentors.
Dick needs Superman's help but this is not the Superman he used to know. Nonetheless, both will have to fight in a world of nightmares created by Doctor Destiny.
And once again, Tim Seeley demonstrates why he's perfect for this book and character.
The writer offers an one-and-done story focusing on yet another team-up between Nightwing and Superman and is like nothing changed since the last time he did it during Grayson. In fact, is even better now since Seeley uses this situation to explore more about the multiversal nature of the new Superman and show the different contrasts between the old DCU compared to the New 52 one and let's just say that Seeley pretty much gets it right by mentioning how darker this one is in comparison.
The good aspects don't end there since the author continues to get the character of Dick Grayson and how he relates to everyone in the planet, about how the amount of relationships he has make him the man he is now. Hell, Seeley even creates a sense of closure for some of the recent deaths of his loved ones. Is just great.
Marcio Takara handles the artwork and is pretty solid with expressive characters and intense action scenes.
What else can I say? Best Batbook continues to be Best Batbook.
