Some thoughts about Death of Hawkman #2

What put Hawkman in this situation?

Hawkman has been accused of murder and now he doesn't know what to do. Meanwhile Adam Strange will have to face the dangers of what could be a war.

Well, this worked a little better than the last one.

Marc Andreyko offers a new installment where he focuses on some backstory about this miniseries, about what happened to Hawkman in between. The characterization is solid and shows some interesting and classic aspects of Katar that fans might appreciate while also giving Adam more time to develope and also giving him a compelling dilemma and conflict.

Plus, the main story continues to progress while several little plot-threads are created that seem to be pointing to a much bigger battle ahead which includes some of the usual battles between these two races and one of the most powerful JLA's villains.

Aaron Lopresti handles the artwork and is pretty good looking with expressive characters, a clean style and clear storytelling as a whole.

Enjoyable overall, hope the next one offers more plot progression though.
