Some thoughts about Deathstroke #7

Deathstroke will have to face one of his biggest challenges yet.

Slade has discovered that his ex-wife has been planning to get revenge on him and now he will not only have to face her but also one of the greatest heroes on Earth.

And if you thought things couldn't get better they actually do.

Christopher Priest continues his ongoing story by playing with several of the plot-points he has created during the course of his run. There's a running theme about relationships and how they're connected to one another and fit into the current story. The characterization thankfully follow such premise perfectly by exploring how the different members of the cast are developing in terms of the past and present.

And of course there's also overaching story that is still progressing which seems to be related to every aspect around Slade and taking him to fight enemies like Batman and now Superman which certainly tests his skills and makes you wonder how he will win this.

Larry Hama does the breakdowns and Carlo Pangulayan finishes the job and the result is a pretty beautiful artstyle that offers lots of gorgeous characters and a very cinematic feel to the action scenes.

Excellent issue, probably one of the best this week.
