Superman will have to finally let go of the past.
Clark has been looking for Swamp Thing to understand what's happening to him only to realize that the Earth itself is having a problem with the new Superman and it will need to be solved one way or another.
Once again, Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason offer a quite satisfying story.
This has been known for a while but Tomasi is at his best when he does one-shot stories instead of big arcs and this is another nice proof of that. The premise centers around the idea of how Clark is from another dimension and the whole planet is rejecting him and the writers manage to use this concept to push the character forward and give him a bigger development to actually make him belong in this world.
Mind you, Tomasi used a pretty similar premise with Martian Manhunter during the Brightest Day series but it also works incredible well here since the creators do get the character and how he should be incorporated in such theme while showing that his relationship with his family will always be the most important thing for him.
Jorge Jimenez completely kills it in art duties thanks to a wonderfull storytelling skill that makes every scene of the script even better depicting several memorable moments.
Well-written and charming, easily one of the best stories from this book yet.
