The child that Byth has created is developing his abilities quite fast and that could mean the end to the universe if someone doesn't stop him. Those are not the only threats though since one of the members from the team will have to make the ultimate sacrifice to help them survive.
My thoughts from the last issue were true, this series is becoming better with each installment.
This chapter a lot that you will enjoy, no matter if we're talking about action, story, characterization, humour, etc. The plot is progressing satisfactorily and much better than in the early issues, you will get some resolutions after all the build-up that appeared in the beginning and it's definitely worthy. That doesn't mean that all the mysteries are revealed though since Adam and Alanna's situation is still quite strange and will most ltkely be explored in the future.
The action scenes are quite and help to make this issue much more exciting. Not to mention that the most lighthearted moments between Animal Man and Green Arrow help to make the story much more enjoyable.
Mike McKone continues as the ongoing artist for the series and his work remains as consistent as ever, his characters are beautiful although some of his storytelling choices are not that clear. Marcelo Maiolo's colors help the pencils look much more vibrant of course.
Great issue, I have no complaints about where this is going.
