How can The Others defeat a Legend?
The true owner of the Atlantis relics has come back to re-attain them and not even Aquaman is enough to face him, it will take the combined forces of the members of the group if they want to stand a chance. Meanwhile, Ya'Wara has decided to return Vostok's helmet to the moon just like he asked for but she might find a person she thought was dead there.
I keep getting surprised at how entertaining and compelling this new series is. Dan Jurgens has actually created a title where he doesn't only delivers good characterization but also expand the mythos that already existed to their most logical route.
There are a lot of great portrayals here from every member from the group, I'm not kidding, every member from the group, even some that were already gone. The Prisoner of War is especially great with all the abilities he has at hand due to his ghosts and The Operative it's also a pretty good Batman-like figure who is always prepared for anything, but those are not the only ones who shine here.
The worldbuilding is also necessary to mention, yes worldbuilding! Jurgens is creating a reason for the artifacts and The Others to saty together and it's one that makes perfect sense. Plus, I bet that you didn't think much about when Vostok said that he lived in the Moon but the author.
Lan Medina's pencils look even better than in the previous issue, all his characters look quite expressive while the action and settings are really detailed.
Nice content and story, this issue was quite good and demonstrates that this is seriously the best Aquaman title in the stands.
