Can Constantine survive the wrath of the werewolf before getting what he wants?
John has not been feeling like himself lately, not only because of his new alliance with the Cult of the Cold Flame but for another thing that has been controlling him for a while. However, not everything is what it looks like as usual and his enemies will always be around.
Don't you love when things are going the way you want? Because that's exactly what's happening here.
Ray Fawkes continues his series of great one-and-done stories that also help to progress the plot, this time focusing on supernatural creatures like the werewolves. The worldbuilding continues to be strong, the author has been introducing different concepts to this series and I feel like this is one of the most unappreciated aspects from it, the exploration from the supernatural segments of the DCU has been great so far and the universe around Constantine feels much bigger now.
There are also interesting twists during this little tale and you will feel a little tricked at first but in the good kind of way. Plus, the main plot continues to progress satisfactorily and several of the sub-plots from the past are also being utilized here.
Edgar Salazar brings really expressive and appealing artwork that helps to make the story much better. His style is pretty detailed especially in terms of characters including the creatures that appear here.
Another satisfactory issue, I hope it keeps going by this route.
